In June, 2013, I took a long journey from "cold" Germany to "hot" & "spicy" Portugal, generally, to explore this "pearl" under the mysterious mask.
Hospitality of Portuguese can be seen just at the airport! My landlord gave a ride to a Chinese girl when he picked me up. I do hope she had fabulous memory in Porto :)

波多/波爾圖 (Porto)
然而，這會是個美麗的誤解，因為，波多(Porto)的葡萄酒也是很有名氣!
波爾圖 (Porto)，葡萄牙第二大城，融合了古今建築，以及特別的巴洛克 (Baroque)雕刻；相較於其他大城，在過去鮮為人知，隨著停靠班機的頻率增加，這顆明珠正逐漸地閃耀其光芒!
藉由多羅河(Rio Douro)的孕育，這個過去繁華的港口 (Port) 並未褪去其光彩，正以曖曖內含光的姿態向世人緩緩其優美與傲人之處。
除了先天的地理優勢，眾多有名的建築師透過傑作為其增添更多風采:
1. Dona Maria Bridge (Gustave Eiffel)
2. Clerigos Tower (Nicolau Nasoni)
3. Casa da Musica (Rem Koolhaas)
4. Serralves Museum (Siza Vieira)
她也是Port wine名稱的起源地，亦為Prince Henry the Navigator以及哈利波特 (Harry Potter) 的孕育搖籃。
奇珍異寶往往需要實際的尋訪方能取得，而波爾圖的美也不例外!

With the frequency of flights from everywhere increasing, this pearl is glittering. Nurtured by the Douro river, this past port is also revealing its elegance and pride.
Apart from the inborn geographical advantages, well-known architects were strengthening its glory by several masterpieces:
